1. Information We Collect

When you use GetMeRight, you paste your resume text and a job description into our tool. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name or email address to use the free version of our service.

If you choose to upgrade to Pro, we collect your email address and payment information through our secure payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.

We also collect standard usage data through Google Analytics, including pages visited, time spent on site, and general location data (country/region level only).

2. How We Use Your Information

The resume and job description text you submit is sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate your ATS analysis. This data is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers after your session ends.

We use Google Analytics data to understand how people use GetMeRight and to improve the product. This data is anonymised and aggregated.

If you have purchased Pro access, we may use your email address to send you important service updates and receipts. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

3. Data Storage

GetMeRight does not store your resume or job description text. Once your analysis is complete, the text is not retained.

Your Pro access status is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This means your access is tied to your device and browser — if you clear your browser data, you may need to visit getmeright.io/success to restore your access.

Payment records are stored securely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic Claude API — for AI-powered resume analysis

• Stripe — for secure payment processing

• Google Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics

• Vercel — for website hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Cookies

GetMeRight uses minimal cookies. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users and sessions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Know what data we hold about you

• Request deletion of your data

• Opt out of analytics tracking

Since we do not store resume content, the primary data we hold relates to payment records (managed by Stripe) and analytics data (managed by Google).

7. Children's Privacy

GetMeRight is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of GetMeRight after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
